The purpose of this drug for bodybuilders, athletes, and powerlifters is to control estrogen levels while on cycle. Steroids like Testosterone, Deca, Dbol, And Anadrol all cause estrogen levels to increase. Which causes an bunch of side effects like bloating, ance, and gyno. Using Anastrozole will ensure estrogen levels to go back to normal.

Studies have shown that Anastrozole of 1mg decreases estrogen in the body by 50%. Ideally, take Anastrozole one day after your Testosterone injection as that is when the Testosterone peaks. For mild cycles, 0.5mg twice an week should be enough. But, for Heavy cycles aka one gram of steroids an week, you may need 1mg 2-4x an week. This anti estrogen will be used for the whole cycle.

Finding the perfect amount of Anastrozole for your cycle is super important as too much Anastrozole will destroy your estrogens levels. You will feel horrible if you take too much, and if you take too little, you notice ance, bloating, gyno, high blood pressure, and quite an few other things.

Take Anastrozole throughout your pct. Since, your Testosterone levels are still up even though you are not taking any steroids anymore. Once, the PCT is over then you stop the arimidex.
